Using E-Track Ratchet Straps is a straightforward process. First, insert the long end of the strap through the ratchet, pulling some (but not all) of the slack through. Next, hook one end of the strap to an E-track slot, and then pull most of the slack through the ratchet. Finally, hook the other end of the strap to the opposite side of the cargo and begin ratcheting it tight, being careful not to overtighten.
